B.A. LOONEY Designs, Inc. only uses Qualatex® latex balloons, the premium latex balloon of the industry. Everyone loves the more than 60 vibrant colors and unique shapes and sizes of Qualatex® latex and Microfoil balloons as well as the many looks you can create with Qualatex® Coordinates.

• All Qualatex® latex balloons are helium-weight quality and are manufactured in the USA or Canada from 100% natural, biodegradable latex.
• Qualatex latex balloons are made from 100% natural latex — not plastic. Our latex balloons are biodegradable, and decompose as fast as an oak leaf in your backyard!
• Latex balloons come from rubber trees. Latex is collected by cutting the tree’s bark, then catching the latex in a cup. Latex harvesting doesn’t hurt the tree!
• Latex balloons are Earth-friendly! Rubber trees grow in rain forests. Latex harvesting discourages deforestation because latex-producing trees are left intact. A tree can produce latex for up to 40 years!
  

We now Use ULTRA HI-FLOAT™

SUPER HI-FLOAT and ULTRA HI-FLOAT are water-soluble plastics specially formulated to hold in helium. They dry inside the balloon to make a very thin coating on the rubber.

When used properly, SUPER HI-FLOAT makes latex balloons float up to ten times longer than untreated balloons and new ULTRA HI-FLOAT can make balloons float up to twenty-five times longer than untreated balloons. Flying time will be less outdoors. and varies due to factors such as humidity, temperature, altitude, etc. Balloons typically float half as long in hot, humid weather. For maximum floating life, we hand-tie our balloons.

Latex balloons fare better in a cool room and don't like anything sharp, including rough ceilings, or pet claws and teeth!

The balloon wraps are treated with an anti-oxidizing treatment to prevent cloudiness. However, the stuffed Gifts-in-a-Balloon may become clouded; some Lemon Pledge or Armor All rubbed on and then polished on the balloon will help clear up the cloudiness.
